“Avenging” Our “Perfect” “Sisters”

You can never get too many quotation marks in a title, at least that’s what my Aunt June always told me. For our first news post of 2015, and also for our first post on our newly titled website I figured “why do three separate posts for different projects when we could combine them all into one super-dudical-triple-bitchin-mega-post!?”
That said, we have a lot of good stuff going on over here. Let’s go in backwards order of the parantheses.

“Sisters” – Last year we were presented with the opportunity to work on the new Tina Fey/Amy Pohler movie. Not since Molly Shannon have I been this madly in love with a female (don’t tell my wife), so needless to say we jumped at the opportunity. I can’t disclose how many songs we have actually got in the film, but we have written over 15 specifically for this. Fingers crossed! In the meantime, here’s a first look at the hilarity!

“Pitch Perfect 2” – One of our first placements as a company was for the original Pitch Perfect. At the time, nobody had any idea how big of a following that movie would have. But now look at it – superbowl commercials and sh*t! Who woulda ever thunk?? Anyhow, we’ve done a bunch of tracks for this film as well. I can guarantee two covers and two originals of ours will be in this one. I just hope it’s as well received as the first! Chiggity-Check it!

“Avengers 2” – Yeah, I said it…AVENGERS MU’FUGGIN TWO!! We were holding our breath on this one and it finally happened. A confirmed placement in what is to be 2015’s biggest box-office draw! Possibly, the biggest box office smash EVER! And they owe it all to us..you’re welcome Marvel!
